These hides are in seconds as they are either a little smaller than usual, or have the occasional hole. This is due to them being a natural product, they still look and feel great!
This is a genuine extra large Reindeer fur hide. This fur is exceptionally warm and dry, reindeer have hollow hair that gives this material an amazing heat efficiency, in fact, it is the second warmest fur in the world only to polar bears. This item is an absolute must-buy for authentic home goods, living history and re-enactment.
This is an ethically sourced reindeer hide from the Nordic meat industry, where reindeer are the only cattle that can survive the harsh Nordic conditions. These hides are a by-product of the meat industry and the animals are not farmed specifically for the hides.
The size is approximately 1.2m by 85cm but due to it being a natural product, this does vary, as well as the pattern of the hide. Please note the underside of the hide may have slight imperfections due to the nature of the product.

As a first time purchase I can say nothing but good things about Raven Forge. The hide is amazing; so soft, the texture and the quality is outstanding. If that wasn’t enough, I bought this on one of the offers they had running wherein you get a free knife. They gave me, totally for free, two knives. One beautiful Damascus cleaver and an EDC. VERY IMPRESSED.

Tip top, even the seconds were proper quality...ok you can see where it was shot, but it only serves to remind us to honour the animal by using it's pelt to give us comfort and warmth.

This is our third reindeer hide in about as many weeks and another absolutely stunning piece. Thank you again. Coincidentally this one arrived the same day we had a visitor from Sweden who makes charcuterie from moose and reindeer etc and he was very complimentary about it and said the price was not more than he would expect to pay over there.

Reindeer hides are great to stroke soft and warm. These may be seconds but my one seems fine, no wholes or bald spots. it must just be a little bit undersized. Still big enough to cover the legs when sitting. The price saving compared to perfect XL on other sites is significant.
