Collection: Lord of The Rings & The Hobbit

Officially licensed Lord of the Rings and Hobbit merchandise

Every piece here is officially licensed by Middle-earth Enterprises and made to the designs used in Peter Jackson's films — not an "inspired by" copy with the serial numbers filed off. Thirty items, from a £7.99 notebook to a £189.99 sword, which makes this one of the easier collections to buy a present from.

The swords

  • Glamdring, £189.99. Gandalf's Foe-hammer, found in the troll-hoard and carried all the way to the Black Gate.
  • Sting, £159.99. Bilbo's, then Frodo's. Short enough to be a sword for a hobbit and a long knife for anyone else.

Mini swords and letter openers

The same blades at desk scale, and the most-given gifts in the range. Elendil's Narsil (£34.99), Andúril (£35.99), Arwen's Hadhafang (£35.99) and Théoden's Herugrim (£35.99). All function as letter openers, which is more use than most swords get.

The One Ring

Three ways to carry it: the One Ring Pendant (£18.99), the Noble Collection ring on a leather strap (£14.99), and the Collector's Edition (£50.00). There is also a One Ring lamp (£49.99) if you want the inscription glowing on a shelf.

For the house

Argonath book ends (£40.90) — the Pillars of the Kings, holding up your paperbacks. Sting lamp (£39.99), Doors of Durin key holder (£24.99), Light of Eärendil (£34.99), and the Dwarven Coin Set from The Hobbit (£29.99).

Stocking fillers

Under £20 and ideal for a Secret Santa who reads: the Middle-earth and Elven script bookmark set (£19.99), pin badges (£14.99), the Tree of Gondor tote (£12.99), the travel notebook (£11.99) and the A5 hardback (£7.99). The Elven Brooch (£30.00) is the one people recognise instantly.

Dispatched from our Yorkshire workshop. More licensed ranges in The Witcher, Assassin's Creed and Star Trek.
