In the European High Middle Ages, the typical sword was a straight, double-edged weapon with a single-handed cross-shaped hilt and a blade length of about 70 to 80 centimetres. The Knightly Arming sword is a fantastic replica example of this, with a tapered blade with central fuller, balanced against a wheel pommel. The grip is wrapped tightly in narrow cord with a upturned cross guard, and the sword is housed in an exceptional black scabbard with steel fittings. A fantastic sword befitting of any collection.
Approximate specifications are as follows:
Full Length: 97cm
Blade Length: 71cm
Materials: high carbon steel
Scabbard: Yes
