Rhubarb has a summery tart flavour, a perfect addition to sweet dishes and drinks due to the tart flavour complementing and cutting through the sweetness. It is also known in magick for its assistance in manifesting love and protection.

Flavour notes:
This mead is a ‘melomel’ (fruited honey mead). It has pure Rhubarb concentrate added after the fermentation process which gives it a nice rhubarb flavour with a slightly sharp edge. Suitable for those who like fruity drinks but still want to taste the mead or prefer their mead not quite so sweet.

About the Meadery:
The Lancashire Mead Company is a husband and wife team of Gordon Baron and Ann Farrell. In 2009, they began brewing mead, priding themselves in making meads as pure as they can be.
