This Raven Forge thrower is based upon the Native American Tomahawk and has quickly rose through the ranks to become one of our must have unique throwing axe designs. It has a blackened forged head that is shaped to provide the axe with an engaging historical presence. It also features a polished blade edge and the Raven Forge logo which is stamped upon its head. These come great as they are but can be further customized by our workshop team for a personal touch by rune-burning symbols upon the wooden haft by hand. This axe is a wonderful little thrower. Throws beautiful, extremely light weight and very well made. 5 Stars
Absolutely solid. I ordered the Hawk Thrower (Native American/American Indian style) and the Bearded Thrower (Norse af) and I love the look. I'm in California, so it took a couple weeks to arrive, but totally worth it. The weight feels great in hand (the girlfriend prefers them to my other heavier hawks). The craftsmanship of the tomahawk heads are beautiful. I love the natural metal look. The hafts are very simple, with unfinished bare wood, which I actually like because I plan on customizing (carving and staining) the handles myself and I don't need to sand off any gloss. The haft on the Hawk Thrower sadly had some splinters, but they were easy enough to sand off. The leather sheaths are a GREAT addition; they are a tad loose fitting and the Bearded Thrower gave me a scrape when unpacking them. They throw phenomenally, BUT (and this is pretty nitty gritty), it appears the hafts aren't fully friction fit with pretty large gaps between the eye and the haft. This is totally fine for casual throwers, but if you're throwing often, the eye of the axe head will unevenly bite/wear away at the eye section. I plan on adjusting for the gaps. I reached out to them and they responded super quick, letting me know they'll send a replacement handle. Thanks Kirsten!! In the picture, I have them next to my $60 usd CRKT and $40 usd Cold Steel tomahawks. The Raven Forge throwers 100% hold their own and I'd say they might outlast the Cold Steel one, since the steel on my Raven Forge throwers seems thicker. My girlfriend told me I need to take a break from buying sharp things, but I have my eye on a few other blades from these guys...
Ordered these when I passed a course. Want to build on my collection of throwers and these were the next two on my list. Two more to get then I'll mount them on my wall. They are cracking.
Quality axe at a bargain price. It a great little thrower but its also damn useful making kindling. This is probably the lightest in range i also havethe Dane thrower which is heavier. I find the ideal distance for them to stick varies by a few feet. Not a problem...j you just need to find distance that suits it and you. Then the fun begins
Have 2 of these axes and I love them. They throw so well that my game has improved exponentially. Love them.

First time thrower. Found it easy to pick up with this axe, I decided to order the Dane thrower to start he collection. Once I’m really good gonna order some of the more expensive axes. Waiting for their throwing knives to come back into stock aswell. Everything is well made. Would recommend to anyone.
Good value for money…perfect weight and balance for throwing…….be prepared to dress your own cutting-edge as they are supplied quite blunt which is not a deal breaker. Excellent communication and service from Raven Forge. I also purchased 2 spare hafts which are a perfect length and fit for the Hawk Thrower. Many thanks to RF Graham.
