The Gallowglass were mercenary warrior elite among Scottish clans living in the Highlands and Western Isles between the 13th and 16th century. During the 13thcentury they started to settle in Ireland where military chieftains would frequently use them as bodyguards as they were not subject to local feuds or influences.
The story of the Gallowglass mercenaries is a favorite here at Raven Forge, when history sounds like fantasy, we're living for it. The mercenaries were no joke, this monster sword is as heavy as it is huge, perfect for display.
It's made from high carbon steel.
