Product details
The ceremonial spadroon was a lightweight, straight-bladed, cut-and-thrust sword designed primarily as an ornamental badge of rank and for formal military dress. Popularised in the late 18th and early 19th centuries, it replaced cumbersome polearms like the spontoon to become the standard sidearm for British, French, and American officers and non-commissioned officers. This piece is finished in 440 stainless steel with a wire-wrapped grip and stainless fittings — perfect for display, or as an addition to a military costume.
