As Olga the Barbarian's axe finds purchase and cleaves through the Lich's neck, a brilliant green light fills the room, and the party feels a sense of calm wash over them and the world seems to take on a new light as the curse that has been plaguing the kingdom begins to dissipate. As the Lich's body crumbles into a fine grey dust, there is a gentle clinking sound as his six magical rings fall to the ground. The party cheers, congratulates themselves and gathers around to survey the loot:
Ring of Evasion- This tiny, metallic hummingbird remains still and cold for the most part, but flits its wings and whistles when danger is near
Ring of Protection- This gleaming aegis fills the wearer with feelings of safety and security, a reliable friend even in the darkest hours
Ring of Water Walking- Faint splashing sounds emanate from this ring as wet footsteps appear and disappear around the edge, making indents in the metal as though an invisible figure is pacing around it.
Ring of Feather Falling- This silvery feather trembles and blows in the breeze, moving freely around the wearers finger but never falling off.
Ring of Mind Shielding- This gold band encases a psionic crystal- a shard of a fossilised Mind Flayer brain from ages past, it hums with psychic energy.
Ring of Animal Influence- The animals engraved on this otherwise simple band spring to life when one of their own kind is near, mimicking the sounds and smells of nearby beasts to put them at ease.
This officially licensed set of six replicas of iconic magical rings from the world of Dungeons & Dragons comes in a glorious presentation box, complete with a certificate of authenticity from Wizards of the Coast. Please note that these rings do not actually twitch, glow, shift or thrum with magical energy and nor can we guarantee any protection from errant fireballs- some imagination required!
