About the Prize: The Lagertha Shield and a Viking Sword
Painted in the deep blue of the northern seas and marked with stark black stripes, the Lagertha shield echoes the strength of the legendary shieldmaiden herself. It's a sturdy wooden round shield with steel banding and a raised steel boss, both finished in powder black, measuring around 60cm across. Paired with a Viking sword, it makes a spectacular display for any wall, and it's perfect for costume and LARP (though not intended for historical reenactment). It's a fitting prize for a shieldmaiden of our own!
