About the Prize: Altaïr's Arming Sword
In the original Assassin's Creed, Altaïr Ibn-La'Ahad carries his sword for the moments when stealth fails and open combat is the only option. We designed our officially licensed replica around exactly that idea: an arming sword heavy enough to parry a guard's blade but light enough to move with ease. The eagle-inspired quillons are aggressive and angular, and the signature reversed "V" is hand-ground beneath the triple fullers on every sword. At 990mm long with an 800mm full-tang tempered-steel blade and a weight of 1.1kg, it's balanced and lively in the hand. The edge is blunt, as this is a prop replica.
