About the Prize: Glamdring, Sword of Gandalf
Long lost in a troll hoard, Glamdring is the ancient Elven blade that Gandalf recovered and carried throughout the Quest for Erebor, and it remained his sword for the rest of his days in Middle-earth. Its name means "Foe-hammer" in the Elvish tongue, and the crossguard is engraved with Elvish runes naming it the sword of Turgon, King of Gondolin. This replica from The Noble Collection is a stunning piece of craftsmanship, with an 89cm stainless steel blade, solid metal hilt parts, faux blue jewel inlays and a genuine leather-wrapped grip, all at an overall length of 119cm.
