The Raven Forge mystery axes are BACK in force due to popular demand!
The workshop team have been hard at work mustering a beastly horde of unique custom axes and only the best have made the cut.
There's a huge variety of axe head shapes and styles, including forged-blackened, textured and insane acid-etched designs.
Each Ash haft has been part or fully-charred and waxed, then hand finished with chunky real leather wrapped in different styles and colours. Some have runes hand-burned onto the hafts, and additional finishes such as steel pins that have been driven in to the haft for for a bolder finish to the leather work.
Take a look at some of the designs in the photos to give you an idea of the kind of immense axe you could be getting. We have serious head-turners and at £89.99 you would be hard pressed to find a better deal - some of these designs would retail at up to £159.99, and the value of each axe is at least £129.99. These are hand-customised in the workshop so please note they can take up 1-2 weeks to be shipped. As always, these are in limited quantity, so if you want one, now is the time!

We recommend purchasing our Renaissance Wax, a specially formulated steel protection and restoration wax used by the royal armouries!

Picking and packing usually takes 2-5 business days (Monday - Friday) for UK-based customers.

Yes, safety is our top priority. However, like any weapon, they should be handled with care.

Great axes. Ordered one as a special mystery axe, and the other is from the mystery viking box, just not sure which is which! Both are solid, well built, sharp, and just look great. The included leather sheaths fit well and are very secure. No worries about them slipping off while not in use. First order, but definitely not the last!
Absolutely love this. Exceptional quality in the workmanship and weighed well. I am absolutely delighted with my mystery axe! I received the Valkyrie in my parcel and I’m chuffed to bits with it! The build quality is amazing and the finish is awesome! It came with a pretty sharp functional edge that didn’t take a lot of work to get shaving sharp! I immediately went on to purchase the Marauder, I’m waiting for delivery but, if it’s anything like the Valkyrie, I think it will be amazing! Not to mention that I got it 50% off on one of Raven Forges one day sales (sign up for those emails folk! You’ll miss out otherwise!!!)!

Light enough to hold in one hand with outstretched arm - heavy to have some impact when swung! Lovely workmanship and detailing on the head along with well made handle and leather binding for grip. Leather sheath is a great fit and holds the axe securely. Overall one very happy customer - will be trying the mead and horn cup later so may be happier still this evening!

I bought the lucky dip axe bag just over 2 weeks ago just to see what it's like because I love a mystery item. I can honestly say the boys at Ravenforge did not disappoint! The Axe is amazing guys and surprisingly functional as its been used to break up some leftover wood in my garden from a tree being taken down. The small knife extra was a nice touch.
