This axe features a huge Forge blackened head with a polished sharp blade edge. The haft with its unique carved design is lightly burnt to bring out the wood’s natural grains and patterns and then waxed to provide a protective and smooth outer seal. As a final step, it is given a thick leather grip which is crossed over the handle before being pinned into place for a great rustic finish.
