This large, bearded axe head is acid-etched with a Celtic-style design on the beard and shoulder. The ash haft has been part-charred and waxed whilst warm for a deeper finish and to bring out the grain, then hand-wrapped in chunky brown leather steel pinned into place.

High Carbon Steel Care: Please keep dry when not in use and regularly oil to keep in great condition. These axes are traditionally made, forged and individually hand-hammered, followed by hand-etching with age-old acid techniques; each axe head will be slightly unique. You must be over 18 to buy from or view this website.
Shipping is calculated at checkout depending on the size and weight of the parcel. There is a surcharge of £2.50 for any products that are classed as for 18+, this includes sharp items and alcohol as your ID will be checked upon delivery in compliance with UK law. There is a £10 surcharge for any orders over a 60cm in length going to Northern Ireland and the Scottish Highlands due to the high cost of posting these items.
