This horn is in seconds because it is a little smaller than most others of it's type, and it has a small crack in the side which makes it unsuitable as a drinking vessel- it remains great as a display piece, or as part of a costume or larger project.
In Nordic culture, folks raised drinking horns full of mead, wine or beer for many moons. Horns also held place in Norse mythology; when Odin returns to Valhalla he is greeted by the Valkyries bearing mead in drinking horns. In another tale, the giant Utgard-Loke tricks Thor by having him try to drink from a horn that had its other end in the sea, preventing him from finishing the drink.
The Chaos horn is made of Water Buffalo horn and as such has a dramatic ridged texture that feels great in the hand; it is expertly crafted and polished, and sealed with resin.
All specifications are approximate due to the nature of this product, each one is hand made and sealed using horns of a similar size.

Shipping is calculated at checkout depending on the size and weight of the parcel. There is a surcharge of £2.50 for any products that are classed as for 18+, this includes sharp items and alcohol as your ID will be checked upon delivery in compliance with UK law. There is a £10 surcharge for any orders over a 60cm in length going to Northern Ireland and the Scottish Highlands due to the high cost of posting these items.
