Description from The Rookery:
Made with hand-picked sloes from across the Strathardle glen, this is a rich and flavoursome mead, which presents rather like a white port. It gives a deep fruity character, with a firm tannin dryness and a hint of tawny warmth.
While many of our meads work well with mixers or as a cocktail, we feel this mead is best left alone, and taken as it comes. This mead’s richness makes it the perfect accompaniment to a cheese-board, or as an after dinner tipple.
