The kukri or khukuri is a type of machete originating from the Indian subcontinent and is traditionally associated with the Nepali-speaking Gurkhas of Nepal and India. The knife has a distinct recurve in its blade. It serves multiple purposes as a melee weapon and also as a regular cutting tool throughout most of South Asia.

These Kukri distinctly show the contrasting bands that are iconic of Damascus steel. The flowing patterns of Damascus emerge from the pattern welding of several layers of steel, each pattern dependent on how the smith works the billet, resulting in each billet being entirely unique. Our knives are supplied with a sheath of real waxed and stitched leather. A truly stunning show of craftsmanship all round.

Our Kukri have been designed with both traditional Kukri and more modern knives in mind; resulting in a chunkier, angular variant with multiple sizes of the brass bolster, one more modern, and the other sticking closer to tradition. Each knife is perfectly finished with an etched Raven Forge logo at the base of the blade.
